NURS 1019 - Introduction to Professional Role

The focus of this course is on the professional role development and transition of the LPN to the RN role. Students will be introduced to the Professional Nursing and Health Care Concepts with emphasis on the scope of practice and roles and responsibilities of the registered nurse. Offered FA, SP

Corequisite(s): ENGL 1001 , MATH 1021 , CHEM 1001 , and BIOL 1161 ; and an unencumbered license to practice nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse or a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
