FIAR 4901 - Internship III

Supervised work in a local museum, gallery, private agency, or on-campus office concerned with Fine Arts related projects. The student must work at least 5 hours per week for each hour of academic credit awarded (based on a 15-week semester this equates to 75 work hours per hour of academic credit awarded). Interns must attend discussions with Faculty Coordinator and read assigned materials commensurate with 4000-level coursework in Fine Arts. May be repeated for a maximum of six hours of credit. A maximum of nine FIAR internship hours (from FIAR 2901, FIAR 3901, and FIAR 4901) may be applied toward the completion of a bachelor’s degree. Pass/Fail only. Offered as needed.
Prerequisite(s): twelve hours of FIAR courses or permission of Faculty Coordinator.
